Runway’s developer platform has added two useful editing routes. These are new integrations, not announcements that the underlying models launched today.
Kling joins Runway Dev — October 13
The addition includes Kling O3, which can edit an existing video up to 10 seconds long. This could be worth investigating when a short AI clip needs a targeted change instead of another complete regeneration.
Ideogram 4.5 joins Runway Dev — October 12
The image integration offers a precise-edit option and masked changes. A practical test would be changing one product detail while checking that the surrounding picture stays intact.

Runway Dev charges credits. At its listed $0.01 per credit, a 10-second Kling O3 Standard edit costs $1.30 before applicable tax. Ideogram 4.5 is $0.08 per image at medium quality or $0.25 at high quality. Developer pricing is not a promise that a consumer subscription includes these requests.
