Read your script at your own pace with this free online teleprompter. Adjust the scrolling speed, text size, and line spacing, or switch to fullscreen and mirror mode. No account or download is required.
How to use the teleprompter
- Replace the welcome message with your script. The Paste button focuses the editor; use Ctrl+V, Command+V, or tap and hold to paste on your phone.
- Set your speed before you press Start. The default is 30 pixels per second (px/s). If the words move too quickly, pause and move the speed slider left; move it right if you need a faster pace. You can also adjust the speed while the script is moving.
- Press Start when you are ready; scrolling begins right away. Pause stops the script where it is. Press Start to continue, or press Reset to return to the beginning.
- Adjust text size and line spacing until the words are easy to read. Use Fullscreen for a larger reading view. Turn on Mirror only if you are using reflective teleprompter glass.

Here’s a short walkthrough of adding your script, adjusting the reading pace, and using the teleprompter controls.
Your script stays on your device
The teleprompter processes your script in your browser. It does not upload your script to our server, send it to an AI service, or save it for you. Keep a separate copy before refreshing or closing the page. The interface supports English and Spanish, and your script can be written in either language.
Use it to rehearse a speech, prepare a presentation, or read a video script. For more creator tools and practical walkthroughs, visit our articles and videos.
